This employee is the “mom” of our clinic. Her patients and co-workers absolutely adore her warm and caring personality. She never fails to put a smile on the faces of all of those who cross her path. She always makes the clinic feel like home, and everyone is welcome! She goes above and beyond to make sure that the clinic has everything it needs to care for our little munchkins here in pediatrics. Socorro Chavez
This person came to CHCCW ready to rock and roll, bringing many years of experience, expertise and problem solving. This nomination comes from a team of CHCCW employees who said this person is, “Quick to respond,” “Jumps in and gets stuff done,“ “above and beyond to help the company and employees,” “always able to help with anything,” “willing to brave the cold,” “couldn’t do our job without him,” “doesn’t leave projects hanging” and takes the job description of “other duties as assigned” to a whole new level. You might see this individual fixing medical equipment, the building, your computer or all the above on the same day. Additional story: Recently, a medical assistant noticed that one of their elderly patient’s walker was difficult to push. The wheels were bound up. After getting the patient a wheelchair, this employee removed the wheels, cleaned out the gunk, oiled them up and got her rolling again in no time flat! He also made sure it was working for her and adjusted as needed. She was beyond grateful, and it brought tears to her eyes. He is the definition of a truly kind and caring person.
